Interests
Books:
History and Historical Fiction Mostly
"Baroque Cycle" and "Cryptomonicon" by Neal Stephenson.
"Captain Jack Aubrey and Stephen Maturin" series by Patrick O'Brien
Jeff Shaara's Historical novels.
Brock and Bodie Thoene "Zion" series

I read lots of biographies especially those set in Enlightenment times.

I am particularly enthralled by the European Period of the 30 years War.

For pure escapism I like fantasy and science fiction.

Frank Herbert, Robert A. Heinlein, Isaac Asimov, Neal Stephenson, JRR Tolkien, Robert E. Howard, Alan Dean Foster, David Weber.

I like the classics. Dumas, Scott, Fenimore Cooper, George Eliot, Twain, Wells, both Shelleys, Hugo, etc.

I mostly listen to classical music, contemporary christian, and folk with a few 1960's 70's and 80's oldies thrown in.

TV is mainly just Heroes, Lost, Chuck, Battlestar Galactica, Dr. Who, ER, Monk, Psych, House, and Star Trek reruns.

Movies:

Iron man
National Treasure (anything with Nicholas Cage really)
Narnia
Lord of the Rings
The Matrix
Pixar Movies
Atonement
The Lake House
Deja Vu
PS I love You
