Product Description

From the creator of the most popular Web site of all time, oddtodd.com (ok, maybe not of ALL time), comes a guide to living the laid-off life--whether you're actually unemployed or just a connoisseur of doing absolutely nothing. Unemployed since June of 2001, Odd Todd now spends his time watching TV, taking powernaps, spacing out, snacking, updating his Web site daily, and doing...stuff. THE ODD TODD HANDBOOK is chock full of ways to spend time when you can't spend any mon-ay. We'll start at dawn-ish and go through a whole day all the way to Odd Todd's late-night insomnia attack at 2:30 a.m. THE ODD TODD HANDBOOK chronicles Odd Todd's lottery fantasies, thoughts about writing screenplays (samples included), cheap and "too easy" recipes (samples included), dealing with mom and dad, dream analysis, socializing with "working folk," getting free stuff, and sneaky (and lazy) job search techniques. There are games, puzzles, a glossary with lingo for the unemployed, and lots of...stuff. Whether you're unemployed or just strive to live the lifestyle, Odd Todd will cover all the benefits of this exhilarating way of life.

5.0 out of 5 stars hilarious!, April 29, 2003
If you haven't already, go to ... and check out this guy's cartoons! If that won't convince you to buy this book, nothing will. Basically, it all started with Todd and his unemployment woes, and each cartoon is absolutely hilarious. The guy is a comedic genius when it comes to capturing the essence of people in the 2000's. Reading this book and watching his cartoons are absolutely hilarious because it reminds you of yourself and of people you know. He seriously strikes a chord.

Instead of needing a computer to enjoy OddTodd's unintentional wit, now we can have it in book form and read it whenever we want, wherever we want, whenever we need a good dose of laughs. He makes fun of our hectic life, and it's all the funnier knowing it's stemming from his life, and all the more genuine and honest.

5.0 out of 5 stars The hardcore unemployed, November 22, 2003
By A Customer
Grab your cof-fay, turn off sponge bob from the tube, and sit down with this book for a few minutes. What book have you recently read that combines wicked insights, nihilistic stoicism, and just plain stupidity in one reading? Keep this man on the dole so we can see more books like this one!

5.0 out of 5 stars I laughed until I cried., May 13, 2003
By A Customer
I bought this book for my boyfriend and I kept picking it up to read bits and pieces - I was hooked. Everything made me laugh, I laughed until I cried and I finally had to put the book down and well ... do work.

I guarantee anyone will enjoy it.
