At the age of five, Susannah Taylor Powers survived a tragic accident that killed 86 people, including her own parents. But the same miracle that saved her life transformed it into a battleground of fear, guilt, bigotry, lies, and rumor. The tales of Susannah's gift for miraculous healings trapped the grown-up Miracle Lady in a tango of fame and horror from which it seemed she would never escape.
And then the Miracle Lady disappeared.
The battle-scarred warrior who found her in an isolated area of the Rockies knew only that Susannah was a threat to the neglected heroes he had vowed to protect. He took her in and gave her refuge until the day he discovered the truth.
Angel in the Road is the story of a woman learning to embrace her power, a man coming to terms with his past, and the angel that brought them together.
