5.0 out of 5 stars Just a plain old guy, February 6, 2001
By A Customer
Wow - if you are in awe at how the American public could have elected this man as our most powerful politician, read this book! We can't all be rocket scientists, but, on the other hand, we're not running for president... This book is truly Laugh out loud - really reads like a comedy, even the introduction is hysterical! I highly recommend it

5.0 out of 5 stars Someone please kill me!!!, June 20, 2006
Try this one on for size

I glance at the headlines just to kind of get a flavor for what's moving. I rarely read the stories, and get briefed by people who are probably read the news themselves." --Washington, D.C., Sept. 21, 2003

That says it all there. I really can't explian how this guy got elected but his quotes make for some hilarious reading.

Overall-If you ever need to laugh make sure you have this book handy.

5.0 out of 5 stars Kind of scary.., January 23, 2003
By mchawkins (Austin, Texas) - See all my reviews
When W was elected, I thought that the most blatant display of his ineffectiveness as a leader would be his constant errors in public speaking engagements. What I have come to realize during the last two years is that while quite telling, this book doesn't even begin to address the real problems that come with having Bush as our nation's leader. The book is funny, if you can read it without remembering that this man is making decisions about a war whose justifications he cannot articulate.

5.0 out of 5 stars Bush with his foot in his mouth
All I can say is if you are a follower of "W" and his policies, don't read this book. It portrays Bush is somewhat stupid and, certainly, semi-literate.
