5.0 out of 5 stars A brilliant and ruthless demolition of creationism., February 18, 1998
By A Customer
Dr Selkirk is clearly a man with a mission, to expose the creationists and 'creation scientists' for the fools or frauds they are, and he takes no prisoners. Step by step, he examines the basic arguements of creationism, and shows that they just don't stand up to close scrutiny. By the end of the book, you will realise that to continue believing in creationism you'd have to throw away everything anyone knows about physics, astronomy, chemistry, geology, etc etc. A brilliant piece of work, and if my local school ever adopts the bizarre notion that Genisis should be given equal time with science, I'll be insisting that this book be used for to put the case for science.
