This is from the back cover."The Book of our Heritage" covers the many phases of the calendar-year, its holidays, fast days, days of rejoicing and sorrow: the meanings of their laws of observance as well as the relevant Midrashic comments andinsights by the earlier and later Sages."

Many times before a holiday I have learned from this book. The book was frequently used in the French Hill Shul in Jerusalem when there were questions of a particular practice on a holiday.
The book adds layers of meaning to our understanding of the Jewish calendar.
It is a true treasure.
