5.0 out of 5 stars The Best and Only., December 3, 2003
By A Customer
My wife and I recently moved into the lower Hudson Valley from California and put our child into a local public school because we couldn't get detailed information on other schools and systems. We went to multiple sources and came away with only bits and pieces.

We then came across this Parent's Guide and thought we were in heaven. It has EVERYTHING we need to make an intelligent decision as to what school to put our child into next year.

Especially useful are the listed tuitions and school philosophies of the private schools. We will save a huge amount of time not having to get this information from each school.

The book is 120 pages of solid information and no editorializing. It really delivers what it says it will.

5.0 out of 5 stars An excellent and unique book, October 17, 2004

I own a now extremely larger school advisory service, Manhattan Private School Advisors (www.privateschooladvisors.com) and we see scores of parents every year applying to schools in New York City, Westchester, Long Island, Connecticut and The Hudson Valley -- all of which highly competitive to gain entry to. This is the first book of its kind and is excellently written and completely comprehensive. I wish we had a book like this for every area of New York because it is so helpful to parents looking for K-12 education in the area.
