5.0 out of 5 stars Great book!, October 30, 2005
By indigofaerie (Sydney, NSW Australia) - See all my reviews
This book is by far the most comprehensive compliation of data available about casinos of the world. Extensive research was employed to create one easy-to-browse resource for anything you might want to know about gaming facilities world-wide. From the number of tables and slots to the type of dress required to what kid-friendly amenities are on hand, this book supplies everything a person would need to know! Helpful for people who are scheduling holidays and would like to know what casinos are located in the areas they're visiting, as well as for those who would like to make sure to hit the "biggest and best," this guide is indispensable. Also included are great "top ten" lists with trivia about casinos that you wouldn't have thought to even wonder about, but are interested to learn after checking out this book.
A must-have for anyone interested in gaming!

5.0 out of 5 stars Do You Travel? Do You Gamble? Buy This Book!, February 5, 2006
By Peter Lakanen (Tallahassee, FL) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
Michael Wiesenberg's exhaustively researched book is a superb guide to the casinos of the world. I'm no world traveller, but I've been to some relatively obscure casinos off the beaten track throughout the USA and Europe, and, let me tell you, Mr. Wiesenberg got the facts right on every one.

If you travel and like to gamble, you will find this book indispensable.
