Product Description

"Ark of Darkness" is a political science fiction epic about the Ark/Global Flood Story. Set in the present day, a Biblical researcher and former astronaut discovers, via satellite imaging, an ancient shipwreck. It's not on Mt. Ararat, the presumed location of Noah's Ark, but 1000 miles due east on the Russian-Chinese border. The expedition to the Ark quickly meets with disaster. Driven inside the wreck by a terrible storm, the survivors are forced to seek a legendary exit below. They now know this isn't Noah's Ark. Long ago, the Devil attempted to save his water vulnerable "spirits of fire" from the wrath of the Biblical flood. Discovered, their vessel was driven upon the peak of a great mountain and buried in an ice age. Among the castaways, Satan included something critical to Humankind's future-never intended to go into the abyss. Though they don't know it, the expedition has been sent to find this thing, and return it to the surface. The fate of humanity hangs in the balance from this last dangerous passage across the terrifying vastness of Hell.

'Ark of Darkness,' is a political science fiction allegory of the Ark mythos.

Seeking Noah's ark, a televangelist with a checkered past uses satellite imaging to locate an ancient ship lodged in a glacier. However, the ark is situated in the northern Himalayas, a thousand miles due east of Mt. Ararat, on the Russian/Chinese border.

An expedition, which is to culminate in a live-TV broadcast, sets off for the wreck's location.

An unseasonal blizzard forces the group inside the ancient ship, where they quickly realize this isn't Noah's ark, it's a gateway to hell.

Satan also built an ark to save his minions from the great flood. The only way out for the explorers is through the ancient wreck, navigating the vastness of hades and other dimensions.

Among the devil's crew is something critical to humanity's future, which must be returned to the surface if mankind is to survive.

'Ark of Darkness' is a brisk, well-paced read, suitable for all ages.
