About the Author
John Alevizos, D.O., grew up in Chicago, Illinois. He earned a Bachelor of Science degree at Loyola University. He then attended graduate school in Biology at the University of Illinois at Chicago Circle. Medical school at the Chicago College of Osteopathic Medicine, Chicago, Ill. Internship in Family Practice at the University of Southern California (USC), California Medical Center. Residency in Family Practice at USC Medical Center. He is currently in private practice in Santa Ana and Irvine, California. Additionally a Clinical Professor at Western University College of Osteopathic Medicine in Pomona, CA. Licensed State of California Civil Surgeon, Medical Review Officer, Qualified Medical Evaluator. He's a member of multiple medical associations including: American Medical Association; California Medical Association; Orange County Medical Association; and American Osteopathic Association.In his personal life, he is a National Junior Basketball League coach and board member for the past five years.He was a contributor to the book Stopping the Clock - Dramatic Breakthroughs in Anti-Aging and Age Reversal Techniques (by Dr. Ronald Klatz & Dr. Robert Goldman; Bantam, 1997)
