About the Author
Barbara B. Buchholz and Margaret Crane have co-authored several books, including Successful Homebuilding and Remodeling: Real Advice for Getting the House You Want Without the Roof (or Sky) Falling In and Corporate Bloodlines: The Future of the Family Firm. Both also write independently; their articles have appeared in the Chicago Tribune, Crain's Chicago Business, Midwest Living, House Beautiful, Chicago Home and Garden, and the New York Times. Both live in houses in St. Louis, Missouri, but they and their families have lived in apartments in New York, Chicago, and St. Louis.
