Product Description
Janet Jackson was born into a musically gifted family. Five of her brothers, Tito, Jackie, Jermaine, Michael, and Marlon became wildly popular as the Jackson Five in the 1960s and 70s. Her brother Michael went on to have a long solo career. Even her sister LaToya enjoyed moderate success as a singer. For the first twenty years of her life, the accomplishments of Janets siblings overshadowed her own. Even though she starred on TV in Good Times and Diffrent Strokes and released her first album in 1982 at the age of 15, she was always following in someone elses shadow. The youngest of nine children, Janet has worked hard over the years to distinguish her career. She has finally met with much success due solely to her talent, hard work, and persistence.
