Born Oct.19,1921 in Brooklyn, NY. Following death of mother in 1929, spent 12 years at the Hebrew National Orphan Home, Yonkers,NY. Obtained BSS degree from City College of NY in 1947 and MSW from Columbia University in 1949. Worked as social worker in family service agencies and Jewish Commuity Centers throughout the country and finally settled in Tucson, AZ where he remains employed by the Pima Council on Aging. His books include; 1)Deja Views of An Aging Orphan:Growing Up in the Hebrew National Orphan Home; 2)JOURNEYS;Sequel to Deja Views; 3)Co-Editor of:The HNOH: Memories of Orphanage Living;and 4)KOLA: Episodes in the Life of a Siberian Husky.
