I read while in a very dark place. And indeed it did give me hope. It shows that the way for survival in this world, where corporate greed seems to dominate, is to take what is given to us and make it a better place for others. Many of these stories are so inspirational that it takes away any excuse not to start one's own campaign to save the world.
