Probably the best version of Mary's Boy Child out there. The rest of the album provides a warm experience. When a Child is Born gets high marks, too.

This album is a classic. It's appeal lies in the fact that it includes everyone's favorites, but has a distinct Carribean flavor. Unlike most artists who try unsuccessfully to combitione both traditional and original characteristics when recording Christamas music, Boney M gives us the best of both worlds. I grew up with it and I look forward to listening to it every Chrismas (although I usually listen to it throughout the year too!) Highly recommended, guaranteed to become one of you favorites too.

I heard Mary's Boy Child on the radio last christmas season and just HAD to have it. I spent the whole season looking and asking in the music stores. This year I started early doing the same, looking & asking in all of the music stores. No one even knew who Boney M was! So, I turned to amazon.com and GOT IT. I got it for that one song, but I really LOVE the entire CD. It's great. I wish more people in the US knew how great these guys were. They are really exceptional! Definate 5 stars! Definate MUST HAVE! I even listen to it in the car, and I never bring a christmas CD in the car!
