Product Description

Amazon.com Review
Not only useful for cooking, this battery-operated digital timer/stopwatch/clock can also be employed for fitness routines, telephone calls, medication, photography, hair treatments, meetings, and games. It counts up or down in hours, minutes, and seconds for up to 24 hours. It beeps for up to 60 seconds when a set time has elapsed and then begins counting up--to record any interval after the set time has elapsed--until its "clear" button is pushed. As a reminder, it beeps for three seconds five minutes before a set time will elapse. The digital display is large and easy to read. The device uses one AA battery (not included), is made of rugged plastic, and measures 3-3/8 by 3-1/4 inches. --Fred Brack

2.0 out of 5 stars Shoddy, October 19, 2002
By "donotwantanick" (Los Angeles, CA USA) - See all my reviews
this timer worked fine for a few weeks, but now it "freezes up" constantly, so you can't change any of the settings, pressing the buttons has no effect. You have to take out the battery and put it back, which means you have to reset the clock. Not worth the bother.

4.0 out of 5 stars 5 minute warning no longer a feature, February 19, 2004
By A Customer
Six months ago I bought this timer and was very pleased with it. I decided to buy another since it was becoming a fight which of my boys could use it. Unfortunately the new timer no longer had the 5 minute warning feature. I brought it to Taylor's attention and hopefully they can correct the problem with the manufacturer. They were not aware this feature was not working. Just another Chinese product "manufactured according to our specifications"! The timer does work in every other way.

3.0 out of 5 stars Military Time only (24 hour time), September 20, 2004
By Warren (Anaheim) - See all my reviews
One of the reasons I chose this timer is because it also has a clock feature. However, there is no way to change the clock from 24 hour time to 12 hour time, as you can with most clocks. They should advertise in the specifications that the clock only has 24 hour time, not am/pm.

4.0 out of 5 stars Very nice timer
All it needs is a magnet or some other way to keep it up. It's very easy to set, and loud enough to hear without being totally obnoxious.

4.0 out of 5 stars It's a timer.
You hit the buttons, and after a while, it beeps to let you know that your time is up. It displays the time. It goes up. It goes down. It beeps. Read more
