My wife and I have just recently become empty nesters and decided it was time to upgrade our dinnerware. After looking around we settled on Pfaltzgraph, specifically the French Quarter design.

This bowl is the perfect size to serve mashed potatoes, steamed carrots or just about any other veggie dish you can imagine.

We have be very pleased with all the Pfaltzgraff we have purchased, so much so we have just about doubled our initial orders!

I got this free from amazon during one of their promotional sales on dinnerware. Bought the french quarter dinnerware set and this came free. It is a beautiful bowl and wonderful for serving at parties. I always receive compliments on this pattern and it is very sturdy and runs great through the dishwasher. I love this pattern because it is elegant enough for a formal dinner party, but casual enough because of the weight of the pieces to use on a daily basis.

We bought a complete set of French Quarter dinnerware plus accessories less than two years ago. Now the design has faded so badly you can hardly see it and the glaze shows every knife and fork mark. I know from others who own other Pfaltzgraff designs that the same things happens. DON'T buy this brand. Their glaze is not durable.
