"A HOLLY JOLLY CHRISTMAS FOR KIDS" is a 3 CD collection of 41 Christmas songs, sung by kids, for kids. The first 2 CDs, named "SANTA'S FAVORITES" and "HOLIDAY FUN SONGS", contain the songs that celebrate the fun aspects of Christmas, like: "Rudolph", Frosty The Snowman", "I Want A Hippopotamus For Christmas", "Santa Claus Is Coming To Town", plus 25 more fun songs. The 3rd CD, "THE SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS", has the more hymn-like songs, like: "Silent Night", "O Holy Night", "Joy To The World", "What Child Is This?", etc... This "SPIRIT OF CHRISTMAS" CD also has sing-a-long "Karaoke" tracks of all the 12 songs on this CD. Every effort has gone into making this 3 CD set the best collection of children's Christmas music there is. It was recorded by the top studio musicians in the best studios. Typical of the comments by parents is: "My child plays these CDs 24/7...she loves them". Also, senior citizens, who often have emotions closer to the surface, tell us that t! hey often have tears in their eyes because of the beauty and purity of these lovely young voices. I love this set of CD's! Every year I do a Christmas Craft Boutique and these CD's are the ones that I play for the background music in my boutique. I mostly use two of the "funner" CD's - "Santa's Favorites" and "Holiday Fun Songs" to keep up a lively spirit. I also listen to these throughout the year as I am crafting to keep me in the Christmas mood. When I first purchased these CD's about three years ago I was looking for something a little different than the regular slow Christmas songs. I wanted upbeat, fun, toe-tapping Christmas songs that would make me feel like dancing. These CD's have done it! I LOVE that all the songs are sung by children. They are just regular kids and it's so refreshing. I get a little tired of the same Christmas songs being done over and over again by every artist out there, all trying to out-do each other's versions. These CD's are simple and fresh and fun. And of course, there is the CD in the set that is "The Spirit of Christmas" that has the more slow and reverent songs. Basically, this is just a fun set of children's Christmas songs and I couldn't imagine my Christmas season without them!

The voices are pure in tone and integrity. The "Holiday Fun Songs," in the compilation are a riot! "Too Fat For The Chimney," had every one rolling here in Music City. This is simply a great Christmas sing along album for everyone. The recording is crystal clear!

I listened to the Christmas collection and really enjoyed it. I put it on during the holidays last year and found it really got the Christmas spirit going. I was surprised at how good those kids were both as soloists and as a chorus. The production was great and so was the musicianship. Anyway, that's my two cents. Enjoy!
