This attractively shaped oval electric skillet has the capacity of a 15-inch round skillet and cooks breakfast, lunch, or dinner for six to eight people without requiring you to turn the stove on once. Equipped with a warming setting, this skillet also works as a buffet server to conveniently brown sweet and sour meatballs or grill appetizer-sized cheese sandwiches and serve right from the same pan. The heat control ranges from 200 to 400 degrees Fahrenheit (in 50-degree increments) and automatically maintains the proper heat setting so foods cook at the same rate as they would on the stove but in a more energy-efficient manner than a range or oven. Made of heavy cast aluminum, the skillet has a beautiful white-colored nonstick interior and exterior surface so meals won’t stick and clean-up is easy. The durable tempered glass cover shows what is being served at a buffet and lets you monitor cooking progress. The skillet rests on two plastic legs that won’t transfer heat from the pan. With the heat control removed, the skillet is fully immersible in water and dishwasher-safe.
