Back long before ‘electronica’ was the ‘next big thing’ and on the lips of every bandwagon-jumping journalist in the country, Waveform’s seminal A.D. series set the pace for exposing this genre-bending fusion of ambient textures, world music influences and bass-heavy dub flavors.
Exposing the likes of such cornerstones of the global ambient/dub movement such as Banco de Gaia, Higher Intelligence Agency, Sandoz (aka Cabaret Voltaire’s Richard H. Kirk), Spacetime Continuum, and A Positive Life with classic and exclusive tracks like Irresistible Force’s transcendent remix of Coldcut’s "Autumn Leaves", the previous three volumes of this series have sold over 100,000 copies.
Four A.D. continues the tradition with new and fresh tracks from UK artists Ganja Beats, Ziontek, and White Star, plus old favorites Rockers Hi-Fi and G.O.L., Sweden’s Solaroid, Germany’s Razoof, Asura (France), Soma Sonic (Canada) and Mystical Sun (USA).
