Disk 3 of the series begins with a ride through Jamestown, Virginia. After visiting the site, which was settled in 1607, the program switches to follow the life of George Washington. Fredericksburg and Winchester were important locations in colonial America. The bicycle rides then trace the path of George Washington at the beginning of the French and Indian War. From Williamsburg to Pittsburgh to Montreal, the cycling trails reveal glimpses into historic events.
