Created by artist Susan Winget for Portmeirion, these four A Christmas Story salad/dessert plates have a festive mood and versatile construction. Bright and detailed, each plate features imagery and verses from the Clement C. Moore poem "Twas the Night Before Christmas." A border of holly and a dark red rim complete the plates festive effect. Series 3 in the pattern, this set features these verses: "When out on the lawn there arose such a clatter," "A bundle of toys he had flung on his back," "The stump of a pipe he held tight in his teeth," and "He filled all the stockings then turned with a jerk." Crafted from fine translucent porcelain, the plates are substantial in weight and safe in the dishwasher, oven, and microwave. They measure 8 inches in diameter. Coordinating bowls, dinner plates, and serving dishes are also available.
