Easy to Use and Other Special Features
With just the touch of a button, the monitor auto inflates for quick, easy measurements. The large LCD display panel shows both blood pressure readings and pulse rate displayed simultaneously. The automatic memory feature allows you to save 21 readings for two different people (for a total of 42 readings), so you can track your results and progress over time. This monitor comes with four AA alkaline batteries, cuff holder, and carrying handle.

Panasonic's Unique Color Confirmation System
The monitor uses a three-color light system to indicate if your reading falls in the hypertension, pre-hypertension or normal range. For systolic, red indicates hypertension (over 140); yellow indicates pre-hypertension (130-139); and green indicates results in the normal range (under 129). For diastolic, red indicates hypertension (over 90); yellow indicates pre-hypertension (85-89); and green indicates results in the normal range (under 84).

My normally stable blood pressure for some reason shot up and I was put on medicine and told to watch it. I needed a blood pressure meter. I checked the ratings on Amazon and found this one which seemed to have the most favorable ratings. I wasn't disappointed when it came.
It's easy to use. Just push a big yellow button. My previous one from years ago got more error readings than it gave correct ones. This one has had only one in two months.
You can use it on either arm. This is nice because I can check it's accuracy that way. I brought it to my doctors office and compaired with a manual reading and it was correct.
There are two other big save buttons for saving readings. So two people can save their results.
What about the but. While on the phone with my doctor he wanted some of my past readings and I could go back thorugh those I saved but there is no date or time stamp. After a while it gets hard to remember if 17 was Tuesday morning or Monday night. To complicate matters it doesn't save it unless you push one of the save buttons. So you can't tell if you forgot to save a reading.
I found this meter to be simple and accurate but if you really want to monitor your pressure you still need paper and pencil to use this unit.

I purchased this product because of Panasonic's excellent reputation. They did not dissappoint. The large easy to read display is fantastic! An ever better item is the colored range level indicators. If your systolic or diastolic ranges are high, it will flash a color to let you know that your blood pressure is too high. It also saves previous measurements and allows you to compare and two can use it.

The only drawback is that the cuff is a little too small. Otherwise the self inflating to read and deflating when your reading is ready is great! I highly recommend this product!

I read the reviews here and decided to purchase this product. I took it to my physicians office and it proved to be very accurate. I began using it at home, and it showed my normally low blood pressure of six months ago had sky rocketed. With the monitors ability to record your blood pressure findings, it saved me from further tests. I just took it with me to my Dr.'s appt. so she could review, and set up a treatment plan. An easy way to divert a possible disaster!
