4.0 out of 5 stars Great collection of brutal poetry, September 12, 2006
By Zachary L. Starr (Washington state) - See all my reviews
(REAL NAME)
As per usual for Henry Rollins, this is some very in-your-face writing, and i love it. The book is a collection of poetry, with no chapters, indexes, or titles, so marking a favorite means either dog-ears or bookmarks, but its worth it.

So far i have only read this and "Black Coffee Blues", and where as i do really enjoy this, unless you are a already a big Rollins fan, this probably is not the best place to start. But, on the other hand, if you are a huge fan, than this is worth your time without any doubts; especially if his poetry is what your really after.

5.0 out of 5 stars Therapy for minds that move too quickly, June 26, 1997
By A Customer
This is a book that is almost impossible to put down, yet it will kill you if you read it in one setting. It is a journey into a mind that is fearless and paranoid at the same time. This is a book of poetry for people who do not like poetry. "One From None" is an uncalculated, unedited and unforgiving confession. Although at times, quite brutal, this book is also sensitive, cathartic and almost tear jerking. A book that will make you stop you in your tracks and examine your life for a few years.
