Product Description

From the Manufacturer

Transport yourself to a time when protecting your possessions meant defending your keep, the most secure part of the castle. Keeps were often called "great towers" because of their imposing structure - walls over 10’ thick and 75’ high. They served various functions, from last resort strongholds during battle to sites of castle dungeons. While there are few remaining keeps still standing today, you can get a small taste of what it was like to build and defend a castle in this game that is simple to learn, yet full of strategy and decision-making elements that will challenge all ages.

4.0 out of 5 stars Great quick game!, November 28, 2005
Durability:5.0 out of 5 stars Fun:4.0 out of 5 stars Educational:4.0 out of 5 stars
There are two ways to play this game. You can play it with basic rules. This game will last about 15-20 minutes with minimal strategy. The second way to play this game is with the advanced rules. THis game will last 30-40 minutes with much more strategy. The best part of this game is that it alows for quick rule explanation and understanding. The worst part about this game is that even with the advanced rules, there is still a huge amount of luck involved. Whatever the case. This is a great game if you are looking for a quick light strategy game.

5.0 out of 5 stars Fun game, March 8, 2007
I gave this game to my sister and her husband for Christmas and they loved it. It is fairly easy to learn and the games do not require a long time commitment, unlike many strategy games. I enjoyed this game so much, I bought 3 more - one for my grandparents, one for my mentor student and one for myself. It reminds me of UNO with different "house" rules that can be added to make the strategy more complex. I'm still looking for an efficient way to "shuffle" the tiles. It is an inexpensive game for 1, 2, 3 or 4 players that I can play several times a night.

5.0 out of 5 stars Castle Keep, January 9, 2007
I bought this game for my 13 year old sister for Christmas and we had a great time playing it. Its lots of fun with more people, or even with just two. We even modified the rules slightly to make it last a little longer for two players. Instead of making a 3x3 square, we made it 4x4 with 4 keeps. Very fun!
