Editorial Reviews

Gaudi, gaudimusic.com
"A delicately engineered masterpiece of the most sophisticated "chill/IDM". The perfect after party album!"

Product Description
‘Beneath the Surface’ is an exploration of that which lies just below the threshold of consciousness, where subject and object lose their distinction, and the definitions of the commonplace lose their validity. ‘Beneath the Surface’ weaves its way into the listener’s experience through deep ambient landscapes, crystalline digital beat structures, and lyrical organic melodies over the course of 13 tracks. This compilation represent a foray into deeper and more delicate ambient structures. Atmospheres are allowed to evolve, textures wind quietly through the background, and inteligent electronics establish icey and foreign structures for your imagination to inhabit.

Crisp, smooth, psychedelic, downtempo,/ambient dance music! If you like these kinds of sounds you can't go wrong with this excellent freshly released comp!

5.0 out of 5 stars Perfection, January 16, 2009
By Searching (U.S.A.) - See all my reviews
This is a beautiful compilation, and I have had little success finding an ambient chill album that compares to this one. The textures are rich and pleasing, and despite being a compilation of various artists, the songs move seamlessly from one to the next and it all fits beautifully. If you like Bluetech, you will certainly love this CD.
