What's included with free standard professional
installationStandard Professional Installation of your DIRECTV System
includes:

Mounting of your satellite dish on an
outside wall or roof with the necessary hardware, within 125 ft. cable length
of your TV
·
Up to 125 ft. of RG-6 cable or up to 250
ft. for dual tuner receivers (TiVo and UltimateTV) that require two
cables
·
The hardware necessary to mount and
ground your satellite antenna
·
Connection to your TV and VCR, if
collocated, and activation of DIRECTV®
Programming
·
The professional installer will teach
you how to use the DIRECTV System, including programming your remote, and any
services associated with DIRECTV
Note: Additional installation services are available; see
below for custom installation information. Ask your professional installer for
a price quote. The following is not included in either single- or dual-receiver
installations: additional RG-6 cable over 100 feet; routing cables through more
than one wall or wall fish; installation of phone line, if necessary, or wiring
of phone jack in excess of 25 feet; providing enhancements to your phone line;
hookups to stereo and/or other various components (not including VCR); any
other work to hide cable or display it in your home in a fashionable manner;
installation of multiswitch or hookups to more than one additional
outlet.
Custom installation optionCustom Installation is available for an additional charge. This
includes:

Line-of-Sight Requirements and Other
Restrictions
·Unobstructed southern exposure.
The DIRECTV satellites are located over the equator south of Texas. You must
have southern exposure, unobstructed by tall buildings or trees, where the
satellite dish is to be installed.
·Renters must have written
permission
from their landlord to show the installer prior to the start of
the installation.
·Homeowners' associations
may
restrict where your dish may be installed. Please make sure to clear your
planned installation with your homeowners' association if there is a
restrictive covenant.
