From the moment I picked up the book, I was hooked. Mr. Dungan deals with all the pressing issues of the day, from homelessness, to genetic engineering, to green politics, in a straightforward, no-nonsense manner, which, despite being Biblically-established doctrine, does not end up being dry and preachy. The comic touches in the book are masterful, particularly the media moguls' desperate attempt to scoop "The Greatest Story Ever Told." The ending was stunning, both hilarious and moving. It is a celebration of faith for all people, of whatever religion, and a peon of hope as we enter the Twenty-First century. Don't miss it. You'll never hear the phrase "Big Bang" again without thinking of this novel. -- Sorcha Mac Murrough, author of Hunger for Love and The Hungry Heart in an interview published in December 1998 by Domhan Books
