5.0 out of 5 stars i'll never go back to a traditional mouse., January 30, 2007
best choice i could have made! i work 8 hours per day, 5 days a week with a computer. i started having wrist pain, so i switched to a split, ergonomic keyboard. while my pain was relieved, my right wrist was still becoming stiff and sore on occasion. i recently purchased this mouse and it is 100% worth the money. it is awkward at first, and slightly tall for your push-in keyboard tray, but i will never go back to using a regular mouse. the software gives so many options for many things, especially the extra buttons and speed. my favorite part is the "double click" setting for one of the buttons. thinking of buying a second one for home!

5.0 out of 5 stars Best Ergonomic Mouse, November 9, 2006
By Jim Fox (Waldwick, NJ) - See all my reviews
I do lots of CAD work and have problems with my wrist and fingers. I started using VerticalMouse 1 and have now been using a vertical mouse for the last year and a half. It takes about a day or two to get used to the other position, but it works very well and my pain went away. It is one of the few "ERGO" mice that offer enough control for my CAD work. Trust me I have used at least 6 other ERGO mice and this is the best. Many other ERGO mice are clever, but feel cheap and cumbersome.
I also like to switch hands I am using during the day and there is a VerticalMouse for the left hand as well, which is great.

If you have any pain in your fingers or wrist, I highly recommend the VeriticalMouse.

4.0 out of 5 stars Ergonomically successful, but..., December 12, 2006
By trademarked (Boston, MA) - See all my reviews
This mouse is ergonomically successful: as promised, the hand and wrist are in a neutral position while using it, which eased my wrist pain. However, unlike any other mouse or keyboard I've ever used, this one randomly "freezes" several times per week which requires unplugging/replugging into the PC - a minor annoyance to be sure, but an unfortunate quality issue.

I love this mouse! I had really bad Carpal Tunnel pain before I started using it. It didn't heal the pain on its own, I also took Coral Calcium, and that helped tremendously. Read more
