Debbie Travis, host of the Painted House public television series, is obviously a gifted painter and craftswoman. She's also an expert instructor. Even the most craft-impaired viewers will find something in this three-video set to make them want to give the techniques a shot. Paint Finishes is the first building block, and the instructions for basic faux finishes--ragging, dragging, color washing, and sponging--live up to the easy-to-follow billing. I never really trusted these how-to tapes until I received this gift from my sister-in-law. It was great, Debbie's calmess is almost hypnotizing and she is so sure of her techniques that you believe you can do it...AND YOU CAN.

My house has never looked better and my poor husband can't drive a mile without me stopping at a garage sale looking for funiture to refinish!!!
