Nature chimes are a the perfect sound therapy. Hand tuned bar chimes are rung by hundreds of tiny beads. Sweet five note scale chimes. Chimes will play for up to 45 minutes each time. I got this item for Christmas five years ago from a friend. I have loved it ever since. It is so relaxing to sit and hear the little balls fall onto the chimes. It really is just like rain hitting chimes. The box is beautiful and it makes me smile just to see it. I would recommend this for anyone.

Ok, thankfully this does not use electricity, big plus in this over sterile/fake world. But here are some minuses. The description is misleading. It says that the chime will last for 45 mins, but actually the paper in the box says between 15-30. Plus, the sticky tape was unusable (the one that was pre-attached to the lid) and so i had to use the spare tape which leaves me with exactly zero additional tapes left. Not sure how long it will take to go through but at 5.50 for 3 additional tapes, i will probably be heading to the hated home depot sooner rather than later to get a more (relatively reasonably priced) tape. Oh well, it is the thought that counts, looking forward to relaxing with this (after i calm down).

I have been looking for these for a long time, I have loved them for years now, but never could find them when I wanted one. My best friend had one that I would drive him nuts with, playing it over and over and over again...I recommend these to anyone who loves wind chimes, bells, and the sound of rain...
