Much better than I expected,
By Just Gary (Hilo, HI) - See all my reviews

OK, if you are expecting high definition, you will not get it here. But I was rather impressed with the glasses. I wanted something I could use on a plane that would be easy to carry around and this is great. It does not block total view, which is great because you can still be apart of your surroundings but you get a private seat for one and the sound was much better than I was expecting. Easy to read sub-titles. The view was like watching a movie screen from the back row.
I may get a pair of higher definition glasses for using my computer, but that will cost about $1000. For $299, this is great (get this with the DVD player at audio outfitters to watch DVD movies).

These goggles are awesome! I have waited for these to get cheaper. They are not perfect, but are worth the $360. I received them in a few days. the clarity is a 90%, sound is fine but could be better. The battery lasts enough time. Everybody wants to know what you are using and try them on, its really cool. All in all I would say its a 9 out of 10. I put 5 stars because there is not a 4.5 rating.

Great idea but......,

The idea of a 50" screen in front of you is great, however the reality is that the clarity is poor because of ghosting and chromatic aboration. But the biggest factor is that it is to heavy for the nose. This could work if it was an adjustable head mount of some kind. I say that this is not yet ready to be on the market.
