This review is from: Reams family genealogy, 1650-1987 (Paperback)
A genealogy of the "Reams" family that is a Reams standard. However the reader must be aware that there are some errors in the information, and that you must check and verify any information on your family line for accuracy. My ELiza Reams was not listed as a sibling of James Caleb Reams and is wrongly attributed to another uncle. I have been told that some of the information and errors may have been copied from an earlier Reams family book by a Dr. Smith. The book also contributes to the family boast that Elizabeth "Betty" Harrison" who married into the Reams family, was a descendant of Benjamin Harrison, signer of the Declaration of Independence; and William Henry Harrison, president--but gives no evidence for this. Yet, most Reams family researchers all repeat this information as fact. A good place for Reams researchers to start, but verify your family information. Thank you.
