Digital television replaces the analog transmission world-wide. In order to have an optimal reception everywhere, it requires beside a matured Receiver also a high performance low noise low distortion antenna.
With the fancy alpha Clixxun presents an optimal combination of newest technology and a pleasing Design in form of an antenna with picture-clip functionality. This integrates itself quasi invisibly into the living landscape or into the office space.
Beside ATSC (over-the-air) & DVB-T the antenna can be used to receive DAB signals. Of course it is also suitable for the reception of analog television signals.
Owing to the LRR technology (Long Range Reception) the reception is possible even in regions that so far have needed an outside or rooftop antenna. The fancy alpha uses low noise and low distortion amplifiers. The antenna is powered via the USB interface, a HDTV-receiver providing phantom power or an optional Power supply (5-12V).
The fancy alpha can be used with all over-the-air (OTA) HDTV receivers for PC or TV.
If you have an analog TV, a digital converter box may also be necessary in order to receive the digital TV signal.

I bought this aerial as a final attempt to get a good over the air reception in my home office. Apart from the reception it was important to me not to have a typical antenna construction in my office.Since this antenna seems to be new on the market and I did not find any US test reports, I decided to give it a go. The aerial replaced my old amplified antenna which could not pick up all frequencies well enough. Adjustment was done in a few minutes, and changing the photo in the picture frame was easy. Furthermore after hiding the antenna cable, it just looks like a picture frame. The reception is good without any artifacts and I am happy that I gave it a try.

I ordered this antenna with a little skepticism based on other reviews but I needed something for the bedroom and did't want something that was obtrusive....I am so happy that I did! I can't say enough about how great it is. All I can say is the other posters must not have read the directions correctly, had no problems whatsoever. It was easy to install, I was able to change the picture in the frame easily and you can't tell that it's an antenna at all. I didn't have any problems with the frame facing this way or that. It just looks like a picture frame and it works!!! Picture quality is even better than cable on local channels. I love it so much I'm going to order three more for the kids bedrooms! With a total of 5 tv's in the house this antenna will pay for itself in a matter of months.
