I have never read a novel written by Anne Haverty, who I have now learned is a novelist who writes in order to absorb her readers in her work. I came across this book in my local book store by chance while looking for other titles. I picked it up the next morning and I can honestly say Icould not put the book down till my reading was finished. I am currently on study leave and had the day to myself in which I spent the whole time reading this absolutly fabulous and humerous novel! Haverty portrays the main character Sarah beautifully and to an extent that you actually believe it is her who has written this inteligent and humerous piece of work for sure! I am only 15 and my friends and family feel I read material which requires a greater age to understand and enjoy. Well I know I have proven them wrong! The quotes, phrases and opinions struck me in a great way that I read them again and again and again. Simply a beautiful book written by an intelligent novelist. "I have wanted one thing to make me happy, but wanting that have wanted everything" William Hazlitt A quote which struck and threw me, which I will carry with me for the rest of my life. Please read this book for I pray that many will feel the same way as I afterwards. |
