5.0 out of 5 stars Just one humble opinion, October 30, 2008
This review is from: The few, the proud, the bankrupt: A study of labor and management history in the airline industry (Hardcover)
The author keenly points out how Management is more concerned with cutting costs to make their company appear more "profitable" instead of creating profitability through sound business practices that generate revenue. The grand history and legacy of the airline industry is discussed and seems to be fading into the treacherous waters of mergers, deregulation and the like.
This book is not only a "great read" for airline professionals, but business students and professors.
