Can you put a filter on this camera? Just wondering if this camera will accept filters?

I haven't tried it but I wondered the same thing as the lens measures 52 mm which is a standard filter size and appears to have threads. I haven't tried it myself as I don't have a 52 mm filter handy but there are other forums where people have tried it and the answer is "No." The "threads" are only to hold on the lens cap. There is a adapter but it gets poor ratings and could damage the camera.
