5.0 out of 5 stars The Cutest Toy on the Planet!
Call me crazy, but I get a big kick out of just looking at this toy! Oh yeah, and my baby likes it too. All the little sea creatures can be played with separately -- each one does something like crinkling, rattling, etc. My son's favorite is the plush velour clam which he runs his fingers over and over. Then, when you've exhausted that, you can use the fishbowl to...

3.0 out of 5 stars Don't believe the hype
Yes, this toy is cute. Yes, this toy has many textures to stimulate baby's senses. Beyond all of that, this is the last toy my son picks to play with. I squeak the clam and I crinkle the little crab for him to no avail. He's off and crawling to all the other toys on the floor. It's a very cute toy, but I don't think I would rush to buy it if I had the decision to...

Then, when you've exhausted that, you can use the fishbowl to gather and dump all the creatures over and over again. My infant thinks it's downright hilarious when the fish go inside the clear bowl from outside the bowl (go figure; it must be a baby thing). I've seen another similar fishbowl toy on the market, but all the sea creatures had plastic eyes which I worried might come loose. As usual, Lamaze has produced a super-safe toy with all stiched-on features. This has simply got to be the cutest toy on the planet!

5.0 out of 5 stars Absolutely Adorable, September 28, 2000

I bought this toy for my newborn daughter because I thought it was simply the cutest toy. She is now 9 months old and loves it. Her favorite is the crinkly crab but the jangly fish, jingly starfish, and squeaky oyster are fun too. She loves to take them out after I put them in. The clear bowl is just plastic so the toy is extremely portable to take along with you. The instructions say surface wash but I tried washing the creatures in the washing machine (I used one of those mesh bags) and they came out just as perfect as when they went in. This toy is well worth the money. Your child will get lots of use out of it and I can just see future use as a pretend pet.

I bought this toy for my son when he was four months old. It was a hit the first time he played with it, and he is still playing with it at 11 months. It has gone everywhere with us and has been washed in the washing machine numerous times without damaging the toys AT ALL. He loves the clam that squeaks the most, but he enjoys all of the various fish. He takes them out and puts them in. He has a lot of fun with them. Nothing holds his attention for very long, but he enjoys this toy very much. The toys are small enough to be grasped by his little hands and they can also be put into our diaper bag easily. I highly recommend this toy.

How much fun can a cloth fish bowl give you and your baby? LOTS! Jaden is 8 months old and he loves this toy. I love it too! Jaden loves to empty the bowl, bring the bowl up to his face then look through the plastic part-it cracks him up everytime. Then he will fill the bowl back up with his sea friends and put it back to his face! It is a great cause and effect toy! He also loves to watch me put the friends in and take them out. This toy is a good way to sooth a fussy baby.

The best thing about this fishbowl, is that each piece can be played with separately. The clam squeaks, the fish jingles, the starfish rattles, and the crab crackles. And my 9 mos old loves pulling them all out of the bowl again & again.

I have to say that this has got to be one of the cutest toys my baby has. He absolutely loves holding them and pulling them out of the bowl. I love looking at them! The colors are stimulating and for my baby, the purple puffer is a hit! It's easy to clean and you don't have to worry about baby hurting themself on a hard corner. For the price it's a toy you should have in your collection.

My mother bought this toy for my son becuase we are "fish" lovers. Having a love for fish and always having an aquarium in our home, we thought this was a cute thing for our son to have. He got it when he was 6 months old and could really care less about it. He is 9 months old and likes it a lot now. He takes the items out and has to eat them, of course, then puts them back. He especially likes the clam and is always carrying it around with him on his adventures. Good toy for older babies when they are interested in taking things out and putting them back.

The best thing about this toy is how much fun each little sea creature is by itself. They are wonderful when you need a little toy to stick in a pocket or bag to take with you. And the nice thing about the fish bowl is that it is not as easy to just dump all the fish out at once, so my daughter has to reach inside and grab the fish if she wants them to come out.

This toy was given to my son by his grandmother. I saw Lamaze and immediately thought it would be a great toy. Not the case.

My son received this fish bowl when he was about 4 months old. He is now 9 months. He chews on the crab for hours, but other than that not much else. I feel that this is an expensive teething toy.

I like the variety of color and the different textures of fabric the toy offers.
