Is the top neck flexible enough to make a a 90-degree angle? I have a Sony Bloggie that essentially has the screw mount on the side, not the bottom.

The neck will only go to about 45 degrees, but the legs are long enough to grab on to something and angle it beyond 90 degrees. Hard to describe without seeing it bent that way. It is very flexible.
If your using it as a tripod it would likely fall over at that angle.

A
No. It only bends over about 40 degrees.

Short answer is that I don't know. This was a gift for my grandson and when I called he had left it a friend's house so couldn't answer my question. I do know that while on a trip with him, he wrapped it around branch of a tree, set timer and took a family picture. He was pretty pleased with its versatility.

With a little twisiting to find the correct way to bend you could probably use it. It isn't an exact 90 degree - the final 90 you get by adjusting the legs.

Sure, I think you could make a 90degree. It's very flexible.
