I am a student of Oscar Micheaux films and literature. Oscar Micheaux was a man of limited educational accomplishment[8th]grade. He was opinionated and wrote what he felt about afro-americans,many of his opinions were not well recieved by afro-americans because he refused to acknowledge the racial barriers erected against blacks of the late 19th and early 20th century in the united states. He accepted jim-crow as a law of the land.
