Anywhere from $500 to $1500. It all depends on the condition of the box and figure, if it has been removed from the box etc. Good luck with that, I have always wanted a boxed Alien.

It's value may be less due to the fact that there is another 18" version currently out. Also, I think yours would be worth more if it had the semi-transparent cover for the head. I bought mine right after it hit the speciality stores in the mall and it came with the head cover and the white markings on the head glowed in the dark. All of the ones I have seen since are without the head covers and I don't know if they glow.

The 22" NECA Alien has NO effect on the value of the vintage Kenner Alien. Make sure you understand that. This toy will continue to rise in value no matter what is currently on the market, guaranteed. It is one of those few really choice toys from the period and practically everyone knows it's story now. It's just a cool piece, and knowing that it was too creepy for 1979 kids and was recalled makes it even better. It was a toy based on a rated "R" movie, and back then, that was unheard of.

I have the head piece and yes the white parts on the head glow in the dark.

I wish I had not sold mine 10+ years ago. It was in terrible played with condition, incomplete, with no box, and I still got $150 for it! and that was a mistake.... They are awesome and everyone wants one. $500 is conservative and a great bargain if yours is in any box condition and complete.

Bought mine in 1979 (Times Square Stores, Babylon, NY - discount store) from a skid of about 50. They were half price because no one wnated them. Mine is still in box/unopened!

Mine is near mint. The box is good condition. All papers are with the toy. So, box has tear by lid and some of plastic is peeling back. Toy it self is just like new. Wonder where I get a value on it from.

Mom bought him for me at JCP in Clearwater in 1979 and I still have him. The inner jaws and 5th pipe on the back are missing. I glued his dome on. The box is in ok shape. I dont care about the value of him because he's priceless to me.
