Many people have claimed to have had close encounters with the extraterrestrial beings. Some people even claim to have been abducted and taken aboard an alien spacecraft, but how come we have never ever seen any footage, or a clear video of even one such encounter?

I believe in UFOs, but then again, that is all they are, Unidentified Flying Objects. That does not prove that those objects are of an extraterrestrial origin. Bottom line is, out of tens of thousands of such "close encounter" claims, not one of those "lucky" witnesses of the third kind was able to film them, or even take a picture, or bring something back from the space ship that would prove their story.

Instead, a story is all they have to back their claims. Why? Are they all lying? It is hard to believe that so many people would make up the same story, so, why have we not seen any proof that would finally put an end to this mystery?

imho the answer to your question is definitely YES. just ask the many millions of pre incarnate humans who are here and know the answer..... they will tell you to read the Law of One and get ready for the upcoming Pole Shift of our planet earth and a fly by of good old Nibiru which comes around every 3660 years and destroys this planet.... i guess that is why they call it The Destroyer in Sumerian, Babylonian, Hebrew and in our Old Testament... the Bible that is.
read Z Sitchin the 12th Planet a 30 year old book but is accurate and on the money from what i have been told by those in the 'know'....

Yes. And do you really think that they would let someone leave their home with something that would prove they are real? They want to be hidden for a reason.

There is life out there because the universe is so vast and loaded with the materials necessary for the creation of life.
Advanced lifeforms that have the technological means to visit Earth is another story altogether. My guess is if they have visited it was long ago. Perhaps very, very long ago before even people.

But I doubt it. And as for visiting now or recently my guess is no. We could probably detect them and as for cover-ups, I'm skeptical of the ability of humans, even ones working for the government, to keep such a HUGE, HUGE secret! Not likely! And if aliens came recently more than one country would likely have detected them. But who knows. Just my opinion...

Well , As much as I love Sci Fi , I doubt it very much . In all honesty , somewhere in our world someone would have found an actual alien artifact or remains of an Alien . For sure it is all great entertainment . Also , If it were so , would we all be ready and would the Aliens be a peaceful mission ? Ps , "Who Goes There" is by far , the best story of it's kind .

Of course they do. Consider that there are billions of galaxies with each one having millions of stars. Odds are we are not alone. If one in a million has life then there must be billions of stars with life. Will we ever meet or communicate with them? Odds are no because of the distances and time involved. Too bad because I would have loved to see different civilizations. At least nature put enough diversity on earth to keep us busy for a while.

Look up The Disclosure Project. The Disclosure Project had a conference in DC where dozens of former government officials, and NASA employees came forward, told their stories of being exposed to a government cover-up of extraterrestrials on earth, and expressed great willingness to testify in front of Congress about their work experiences. Amazing, huh? I refuse to believe that they are all liars, but I do want to see some evidence. All of them say that the government and the NASA have thousands of footages and pictures of proof of existence of ETs.

whats a Who Goes There? Is it a fiction, or what?

Av Green says:
Yes, most of the distances involved would sometimes take millions of years for even THE LIGHT to reach us. But there are also things like worm holes and black holes, that are still mostly unexplained as of yet. It is known though that black holes bend time/space, and even poke holes in it.

J. K. Myers says:
Sally Seashells, really? For your information God did not write the bible, man did for the benefit of control! Just like today (politicians) man writes laws to control populations for the benefit of corporations/governments. Now I believe in God, but life perpetuates itself throughout the multiverse. Just as we were created (we being planet Earth, the inhabitants) so shall we, in the future, take DNA samples of our grass, trees, plants, fish, animals, mammals and, of course, Hu-man to create our own 'Garden of Eden' on another planet which we will 'Terraform' into a livable planet, sometime in the future! Then we will give these creations of ours laws to live by and then we become God!

The god you speak about is Jehovah or YHWH, who was the leader of a group of Extra-Terrestrials called the Elohim, whilst Satan (a different entity from Lucifer who has never visited Earth to my knowledge, but is the higher authority of Satan) was a negative ET who disagreed with YHWH and worked against him and the positive Elohim.

God (The Source of all that is) exists but he is not an angry God, he is not the God of your bible and we are all spirits/souls experiencing life, trying to learn from our mistakes (Karma) and working towards rejoining The Source God as we learn and move up the evolutionary scale (through dimensions).

Sally, I agree with some of what you say, but J. K. Myers seems to be much closer to the truth.

In a word...YES! My point of view comes from the math. There is simply too much out there for us to be alone in the universe. There's a chapter in my book where I get into some detail about this. The book is called THE ROSWELL PROTOCOLS. It's a fiction thriller (and, yes, this is a shameless plug) but I base some stuff directly from real science. So, yes, aliens exist. Whether they've made it here or not is up to you.

J. K. Myers says:
Avraham, The biggest problem with your argument (and I have heard it so many times before to be honest) wormholes and blackholes aside, is that the people making the argument always base their argument on our existing technology. I don't care how far the nearest star is, I am sure Extra-Terrestrial intelligences that are 100, 500, 1,000, 100,000 or even Millions of years older than us have mastered faster than the speed of light. When the first car was invented it was thought that if man were to drive faster than 30 MPH he would be killed by the pressure :) There is so much evidence out there, right in front of peoples noses but unfortunately, most people are too dismissive (due to brainwashing, as I was once) or just plain lazy to research the facts. - are two very informative websites to start with. Cheers

there is nothing wrong with a little shameless self-promotion, as long as you don't over do it. Like, there was one guy who's written a fictional novel about a nuclear war in the ME, and he was sure to mention it in every one of his posts, and would also add paragraphs and portions of the book to those posts of his. He also created several different Amazon accounts, and started several threads in different Amazon communities, using misleading titles, to promote his book.

In the end, all that sneaky type of effort backfired. Several people on the Politics forum got so fed up with him going on, and on, and on, and on about his book, that they went to the books selling page on Amazon, and wrote negative reviews about it (they were able to read parts of the book on Google books. The book itself was, of course, awful.)

Hot hands says:

There are no pictures, videos....there are lots of people who claim to have videos and pix....would you believe them anyway? There is plenty of evidence of a govt. coverup at Roswell.....all ancient text talk about it, explain the Nazcz lines, please? I think the evidence is all around us, in fact we are so used to seeing it, we can't see the forest for the trees.....what about all the "men in black" stories.....just because YOU personally haven't experienced something, doesn't make it unreal.

Peronally I think all life on this planet came from somewhere else....the Hopi legends talk about coming from space to here "the blue planet".....I think we are all aliens, we've just forgotten.

Want a wild read? "The Biggest Secret" David Icke...take it for what it is, enjoy it or not as you see it.

That makes 2 of us. I have The Biggest Secret. I started reading it, but the book is so darn boring!!!!!! I mean, the concept is interesting, but all the information, and the historical data that Icke presents, is just too boring for me to read for pages, and pages.

My uncle is a scientist in France, and he has been doing his own research for like 25 years, where he is trying to prove that all people on earth are basically descendants of those who migrated here from other planets. His main point of argument is that there are approximately 2500 languages (if am not mistaken about the number) on Earth, but as far as a history can go back, there is no record of any new language being born. That means that all of modern languages somehow appeared, or were born all at one time, since all people on Earth have supposedly been here for the same perioud of time. But no new languages have ever been created since. Scientists tried to create a new, artificial language at one time, but the project failed.

His point is basically that the people have already arrived here with their own languages, each people from a different place in the universe. And that's what explains the presence of so many languages on a single planet!

If anyone is interested in reading his research, I'll be happy to email it to you.

Mookins says:
There's a website called ufoseek that has a section on UFO Propulsion, that links to a site called Cosmic Vault, which contains 'a ufo propulsion primer', that posits a "virtual particle" that conveys gravity, streams of which particles connect each particle of matter to all others; and that these streams can be interrupted by a fairly simple mechanism the author describes, which renders the flying saucer IN EFFECT MASSLESS and enables speeds from thousands to millions of times the speed of light. It seems well-reasoned to me, but it could all be double-talk and I wouldn't know.

It raises the one point worth mentioning: that when UFO sightings include seeing the craft depart, it usually leaves "like it was shot out of a gun", as the farmer said in 1897, an acceleration that would kill any pilot and break any machine UNLESS IT WAS IN EFFECT MASSLESS.

If the technology's as simple as the author describes it, I'm sure we've already built it, as hard as that may be to accept.

Extraterrestrials almost certainly exist, but nothing more beyond that can be said with any confidence. What form does non-Earth-based life take? Where is it? Is it intelligent/sentient? Will we ever experience communication with it? No one knows the certain answers to these questions, and if they say that they do, they are liars or fools or worse. However, there is an enormous body of data and human experience suggestive of an ET presence on Earth, both now and in the near and distant past. If we take ancient Middle Eastern 'Biblical' mythology as somehow reflective of a more or less accurate historical reality, than why should we not take great chunks of similar cross-cultural mythologies as rooted in some historical experience of other societies? To that end, there are plenty of ancient 'myths' promulgated by humans that sound as though they refer to visitations by alien beings with vastly superior technologies (which seem 'magical' or 'divine' to us primitive humans), wherein the aliens are perceived supernatural entities. Then there are myths such as those of the Dogon, which essentially state that "yeah, these fish-like beings crashed here a long time ago, and lived for a while in those caves over there before they died, and came from such-and-such star system, about which they related to us various bits of astronomical information unknown to scientists until the 20th century."

The Disclosure Project ( Disclosure : Military and Government Witnesses Reveal the Greatest Secrets in Modern History ) and others have brought to line eyewitness testimony from all sorts of public servants who have had experiences with 'flying saucers,' many of whom were told to keep quiet. That jet fighter pilots and police officers and radar operators and airliner pilots and soldiers on military bases and astronauts and world leaders have seen things in the sky is without question. Things that sound much less like a mistakenly observed blob of swamp gas, or Venus, than they do the craft depicted so vividly in "Close Encounters of the Third Kind."

As to the question of 'evidence,' that is of course the very weakest link in the whole story, which anyone interested in such topics should readily admit. To that I can only surmise that there IS physical evidence, much of it quite rare and valuable, and much of which has been hidden by the military-industrial complex. I've certainly seen some very strange videos out there, and the tales I've heard and read leave me with little doubt that something is up.

On a slightly unrelated note, Avraham's scientist uncle is full of it, in that his hypothesis is absolutely incorrect. There exists NO evidence to suggest that all currently living languages have existed since time immemorial. Take, for instance, the very language I've composed with message with. No languages that can reasonably be called 'English" existed in the year 1 CE. There are plenty of extant writings in early forms of English that make it apparent that it was birthed as a result of numerous linguistic groups' interactions in the British Isles. Then there are the so-called 'Romance languages,' Spanish, Italian, Portuguese, French, Romanian, etc., none of which existed prior to Roman colonization of those lands. Then there's Ladino, a particular mix of medieval Spanish, Arabic and Hebrew, spoken by Sephardic Jews. Then there's Yiddish, which didn't exist until Jews found themselves in lands with Germanic people. The list goes on and on. Really, your uncle should stick to his day job!
