Right now I am listening to 'The Second Line' by Clinic. First listen and it sounds good!

I still need to give a listen to Yeasayer Poppy, and 'The Campfire Headphase' as well... Hmm, need to get my act together.

Chuck, I just picked up Do It! and this is my first exposure to Clinic. I can't remember why I decided to get it (maybe from a post of yours??) but I am definitely liking it.

If you want to listen to some Yeasayer and Boards of Canada along with some other things in the same vein, visit my mixtape site.

If you wait a few moments for the stream to catch up, you should be able to move the QuickTime slidey bar thingy to the tracks you want to hear. Or, hey! Listen to the whole thing if you like. ;)

Thanks for the link Poppy! I know about half of the stuff on there, otherwise it's all new to me! Do It! Is next on my Clinic list, I got 'Internal Wranglers' today and that was my first Clinic experience as well.

I am quite a big Boards fan but for some reason I haven't picked up 'The Campfire Headphase' nor 'In A Beautiful Place out in the Country' which I hear is fantastic.

Oop, to keep with the theme... listening to 'Wide Open Space' by Mansun.

In the spirit of John Cage's "4'33"" - at 11 o'clock, the constant whirr of a double-fan window fan, and the occasional noise that penetrates it; at 12, the almost subliminal whine of my monitor; at 1, the occasional long winding sound from my computer; at 6, two feet behind and above my head, the arthymical ticking of my ceiling fan; and through my door between 6 and 7, the infrequent sounds of the other residents on my floor. Plus the occasionaltick from my coffee-maker between 7 and 8. ;)

I'm assembling a custom soundtrack for Burnout Paradise so it'll be ready when the Cagney patch comes out. I've been listening to everything from Antiloop to Monster Magnet, anything that's fast, stylish, angry, or all of the above. Right this moment iTunes is on J Ralph, "Fire It Up."

I just finished listening to Lisbeth Scott's "Waiting." Just beautiful. Before that it was the Dropkick Murphys. :)

Basically him soloing over some avante-garde electronic beats. It's pretty cool.

"Monkey Powder" off the new Brian Jonestown Massacre album, which is once again making me wonder if Anton Newcombe is 1) insane, 2) ingenious, 3) both, or 4) neither.
