I downloaded the unbox software and rented the movie Wonderful World, now the preview quality looked good but when I try to watch the actual full movie it appears to be cropped and bad quality almost like someone filmed it out of a theater with a camera. Has anyone else had this problem. Cost like $10 to rent it and for that price I expect better quality video then what I am seeing.

I was thinking the same thing. We rented "My Sister's Keeper", and I spent a good portion of the movie wondering if the blurring was an intentional move by the director to give the movie a more sentimental feel. In the end I decided it was just poor image quality: motion blur, blur even on static imagery, poor color depth, etc.

You'd think given all the DRM restrictions that the rental would be at least near-HD quality, but I've seen much better on standard DVD technology. Very disappointing.

Doc Landis says:
Flip the DVD over, or watch it in a mirror. You have the DVD in backwards!

$10 to rent? For that price I think you purchased it. Aren't rentals here $1.99?

Ha least you got to watch it. I bought some Amazon Unbox episodes of House where Amazon didn't include the DRM rights, so in essence I paid for and downloaded episodes that I will never be able to view.
