Is Amazon making a Windows 8 Metro App so we can finally watch HD streaming on Windows 8 (like Netflix and HULU+ already do ) ?

I hope they do. I just upgraded and am overall liking it a lot. Would love to see a app in there. It would be cool if it supported hd movies for movies on desktops.

I think they will very soon. In one of the presentations I saw, there was an icon for it on one of the start menus.

I'm using 32gb Surface RT and can stream movies just fine from the amazon web site with internet connection. Problem would be to download to surface for future viewing offline and I suppose an app for RT would be required. However debating on whether purely moving my entertainment interest to Xbox video/music if Amazon doesn't make an app for RT soon.

+1 I definitely would love an Amazon Prime app for windows 8 ... right now I use Plex Media Center on my PC to stream Amazon Prime to my tv

Amazon Prime is a no-brainer: For $6.58 per month you get free 2nd day air shipping, Streaming videos, and over 42k free books for Kindle. With NetFlix for $8.25 a month you get videos.
