+1. I'm not deaf but get high usage out of subtitles and it's something i looked for when purchasing amazon prime. Netflix offers captioning/subtitles for many of their titles. It would be nice if Amazon could do the same.

Please make the leap into the twenty first century. Not everyone has perfect hearing or English is their first language. English is my first language and I have trouble understanding their British accents.

I'm not hearing impaired at all, but always use captions especially when muting my TV to take a call. Its amazing how such a successful company won't offer this basic service!

Amazon should look at captioning/subtitles as a way to differentiate its Amazon Prime video offerings
from the other vendors.

If not, perhaps consider converting/cataloging caption-streams, for sale to other vendors,
or possibly, funding captioning efforts as a joint effort between vendors.

Other ideas: Tax breaks/deductions/credits for creating captions streams, perhaps
copyrighted for the first 1-2 years.
