I need a Windows Media Center plug-in for Amazon Prime! Why would I give up the easy of using Netflix if I have to launch a browser window to Amazon Prime?

Just bought a Kindle Fire and love the idea of keeping Amazon Prime to stream content on my HTPC (plus I'd love to dump Netflix after their treatment of their customers this year). But it is really really clunky to watch Amazon content via my web browser; please give us a WMC plug-in!

Please add the plugin. Very frustrating without it. Going back to Netflix in the meantime.

I am honestly shocked Amazon has no way to stream videos to ws Media Center. That'a the interface used throughout my house for media access.

Another vote and another plea for Amazon to provide a native WMC7 plugin.

One more vote for an Amazon Windows Media Center plugin.

Please add a plugin for streaming to Windows Media Center like netflix or a work around like hulu (see http://download.cnet.com/Hulu-Desktop-Integration/3000-2344_4-10972141.html)

Joining the list here - Amazon, it would take you probably 40 hours or less to code this, and you will gain many thousands of subscribers. Please do this!

Media Center App or even a stand alone PC app I could use would be nice. I'm not picky and don't think this would be too hard to accomplish.

As both a WMC user and a loyal Amazon customer I would like to add my voice to those asking for a WMC plugin for Amazon streaming video and Unbox/Prime.

Another plea here for Amazon to provide a native WMC7 (Media Center) plugin.

This is really annoying. I just signed up for Amazon Prime since i thought i could integrate streaming videos through WMC. If I cannot do this, I think I will cancel my Prime membership (after the 1-month free period). I'd love to know why Amazon has not addressed this yet.

Yes, a plug-in for Windows Media Center's 10 foot interface (utilizing remote) would would guarantee I renew Prime next year. The Unbox solution for extenders is not enough.

I would get rid of Netflix if a plug-in for WMC7 came out similar to what Netflix has. Come out with a PS3 plug-in also, although that would just be the icing on the cake for me.

Agreed, I'm a current Netflix subscriber looking at alternatives. I'm on the 30 day Amazon Prime trial. The current supported methods are a joke! On Netflix I can use almost any device including my iPad or Windows Media Center. Unbox is a kludge on Windows Media Center and doesn't even work on an iPad. Let's say my girlfriend wanted to watch a movie. In Netflix she doesn't even need to ask questions, it's easy, grab the remote navigate to the movie, press play. Unbox? Hah! Ok, now minimize Media Center and start the Unbox app. Ok now go find a keyboard and crawl behind the tv to plug it into the computer. Now browse for the movie and start the download. When it's done (or close), minimize Unbox and go back to Media Center, now browse for that movie and press play. Yeah Right! This is 1st generation crap in a polished Apple TV world, fix it or you'll have zero customers.

I would be happy with an api for it. I would write a plutonium for amd if I could access it progrmatically.

We get all our Video-on-demand through Amazon, but without a WMC plugin or Xbox App, I am rethinking my Amazon only strategy. Amazon, please release for either (or both) WMC and XBox. Xbox has 55+ million consoles, that should be a good market to make worth your while to build a nice App!

Agreed. We need a WMC plugin.

Here Here! Yet another vote for WMC plugin- I too dropped Amazon prime after the 30 day trial because it isn't seamless to use on my htpc. I am still paying for Netflix because it is seamless, well thought and and makes the experience very enjoyable except for their content. If Amazon would make the interface, I would switch tomorrow.
