If you think that Amazon has a responsibility to add closed captioning or subtitles to Video On Demand and XBox so that those with hearing impairment can fully enjoy watching videos, please respond by signing

Amazon take note- you'll increase business by doing the right thing.

I am only deaf in one ear... I can't imagine how frustrating and disappointing it is for fully deaf people to be ignored in the twentyfirst century!

+1 I don't know if it is Amazon's responsibility, but it is the right thing to do. Captioning/subtitles should be offered whenever possible.

Please add subtitles or closed captioning to all videos.

caption/subtitles would also be profitable- you would expand viewer base especially if able to offer it on all titles unlike netflix who only offers it on some of there titles. but still netflix at least has the options.

AMAZON, I remember when you burst onto the web scene in '94 as Calabra, changed your name to Amazon in '95 and stayed in the lead for a long time. I live in Seattle and MANY of my friends work(ed) for you - trust me when I say we ALL want you to succeed.

Your reputation for being a fair and equality based company to work for and do business with is reason enough to grant the request for CLOSED CAPTIONING (where available).

However, in these hard economic times money, if money needs to drive your decisions, I ask you this - have you looked at Netflix lately? If you have, than you know they have your beat with lower prices, better web design, faster streaming, better tech support, and a larger selection of movies & TV shows.

As gas and movie prices continue to soar, you do NOT want to be left in the dust with your streaming department. I sure hope someone in accounting sees this and backs me up.

Thanks for listening Amazon.

Please add CC for the hearing impaired. I bought the Amazon Primer membership and it has been a huge let down for me because I cannot watch a Prime Instant Video without the sound blasting and then the sounds just becomes more messed up. I need my CC; help the hearing impaired/deaf like me and all of the others.

I only have 70% of my original hearing and as a result some softer tones I simply cannot hear. I with Amazon would compete directly with Netflix on this.
