thank you for noticing my topic. Well the problem is I have a edge he 14inch and can I put that in losmandyg11? Or can I put it in celestron chem? Or cge5?
I was planning to put in vixen spins but what do you think I should use? I DON'T WANT che pro, because it is too expensive for me... but just telling you this is a big 14 inch telescope!!recommend me some mounts.

Tanks and clear skies,

Andrew,

Howdy! I own the Celestron CGEM and it is a great mount, but I just have a 80mm triplet, guidescope and some other small bits of equipmet on there. Don't even THINK about trying to put that thing on a CG-5!! It will explode! Your 14in Edge HD is 40 some pounds. The CGEM is rated for 40lbs. I'm sure the CGEM could handle your OTA alone for observering, but with reduced stability. Add on a few pounds of astrophotography equipment and you would definately be overloading that mount. The CGEM DX is rated for 50lbs at an exrta 500 bucks over the CGEM, so that might be the best option - still make sure you watch the weight of additional equipment. I don't know what vixen spins are... I assume you'll be doing astrophotography with that thing so have fun.

Let me know if you have any other questions!

-Dave
