The Nurbler says:
How does Amazon know what I do with a CD after it is delivered to me? All of the CDs I've ever purchased from Amazon were subsequently gift wrapped (by me) and delivered to other people (by me) for Christmas and Birthdays. I (probably) didn't mark them as gifts at the time of purchase, but I went to "Improve your Recommendations" and marked them all later for certain. And Yet, Amazon has made at least five of them available for me in their cloud. Personally, I couldn't give a crap and will never, ever use it (until someone else pays for all the data my phone receives!) but I'm sure I'm not alone in be provided access to content that I don't really own. There really doesn't seem do be any way Amazon can avoid lawsuits for this -- other than the fact that Amazon is probably bigger than anyone will will try to sue them. Good luck Amazon!

I've wondered about this too. I try and keep my music files free of illegal downloads and that they haven't addressed this but pushed the files on me annoys me
